(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَطَرٌ الْوَرَّاقُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَا يَجُوزُ طَلَاقٌ وَلَا بَيْعٌ وَلَا عِتْقٌ وَلَا وَفَاءُ نَذْرٍ فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A person does not have the authority to divorce, sell, free, or fulfill a vow regarding something which he does not own (through marriage or purchase)."
