Hadith 6774

(حديث قدسي) حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، وَعَفَّانُ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي ثُمَامَةَ الثَّقَفِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ العاص ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " تُوضَعُ الرَّحِمُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، لَهَا حُجْنَةٌ كَحُجْنَةِ الْمِغْزَلِ ، تَكَلَّمُ بِلِسَانٍ طَلْقٍ ذَلْقٍ ، فَتَصِلُ مَنْ وَصَلَهَا ، وَتَقْطَعُ مَنْ قَطَعَهَا " ، وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ : الْمِغْزَلُ ، وَقَالَ : بِأَلْسِنَةٍ لَهَا .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "On the Day of Resurrection, the womb (ties of kinship) will be presented in a twisted form like a spinning wheel, and it will be speaking in an extremely eloquent and articulate tongue: whoever maintained it, Allah will maintain him, and whoever severed it, Allah will sever him."
