Hadith 6770

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا افْتَتَحَ مَكَّةَ ، قَالَ : " لَا تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا وَلَا عَلَى خَالَتِهَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that on the occasion of the conquest of Makkah, the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No person should marry a woman while her paternal aunt or maternal aunt is present."
