(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ ، سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ شُعَيْبٍ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْفَرَعِ ؟ فَقَالَ : " الْفَرَعُ حَقٌّ ، وَإِنْ تَرَكْتَهُ حَتَّى يَكُونَ شُغْزُبًّا ابْنَ مَخَاضٍ أَوْ ابْنَ لَبُونٍ ، فَتَحْمِلَ عَلَيْهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، أَوْ تُعْطِيَهُ أَرْمَلَةً ، خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَنْ تَبُكَّهُ يَلْصَقُ لَحْمُهُ بِوَبَرِهِ ، وَتَكْفَأَ إِنَاءَكَ ، وَتُولِيَ نَاقَتَكَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that someone asked the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, about sacrificing the first offspring of a camel. The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is permissible, but if you leave it until it becomes mature, two or three years old, and then you give it to someone for riding in the way of Allah, or give it to widows, then this is better than slaughtering it, sticking its meat to its hair, overturning your pot, and making your she-camel mad."
