Hadith 6757

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنِي حَبِيبٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ أَعْتَى النَّاسِ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَنْ قَتَلَ فِي حَرَمِ اللَّهِ ، أَوْ قَتَلَ غَيْرَ قَاتِلِهِ ، أَوْ قَتَلَ بِذُحُولِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Among the people, the one who goes furthest in transgressing against Allah is the person who kills in a sacred sanctuary, or kills someone who is not a killer, or kills someone due to enmity from the days of ignorance."
