Hadith 6749

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا الْخُزَاعِيُّ يَعْنِي أَبَا سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْهَادِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ ، وَالْمَأْثَمِ وَالْمَغْرَمِ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that I heard the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: O Allah! I seek refuge in You from laziness, old age, debt, and sin. I seek refuge in You from the trial of the False Messiah (Dajjal). I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave and the punishment of Hell.
