(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي أَعْطَيْتُ أُمِّي حَدِيقَةً حَيَاتَهَا ، وَإِنَّهَا مَاتَتْ فَلَمْ تَتْرُكْ وَارِثًا غَيْرِي ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " وَجَبَتْ صَدَقَتُكَ ، وَرَجَعَتْ إِلَيْكَ حَدِيقَتُكَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "I had given a garden to my mother during her lifetime. Now she has passed away and she has no heir except me." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You have received the reward of charity, and your garden has also returned to you."
