Hadith 6718

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، وَعَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " عَقْلُ شِبْهِ الْعَمْدِ مُغَلَّظٌ مِثْلُ عَقْلِ الْعَمْدِ ، وَلَا يُقْتَلُ صَاحِبُهُ ، وَذَلِكَ أَنْ يَنْزُوَ الشَّيْطَانُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو النَّضْرِ : " فَيَكُونُ رِمِّيًّا فِي عِمِّيًّا ، فِي غَيْرِ فِتْنَةٍ وَلَا حَمْلِ سِلَاحٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The blood money (diyah) for killing resembling intentional murder (shibh al-‘amd) will also be aggravated (mughallazah) like that of intentional murder (al-‘amd) (the details of which have passed in the previous hadith), except that in this case the killer will not be killed. Its example is that Satan jumps among people and, without any trial or raising of weapons, indiscriminate archery begins."
