Hadith 671

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنِ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " صَاحِبَ الرِّبَا ، وَآكِلَهُ ، وَكَاتِبَهُ ، وَشَاهِدَيْهِ ، وَالْمُحَلِّ ، وَالْمُحَلَّلَ لَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who gives it to others, the one who writes usurious transactions, the witnesses to usurious transactions, the one who performs halalah, and the one for whom halalah is performed.
