It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that a woman came to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! This is my son. My womb was his vessel, my lap was his cradle, and my breast was his source of nourishment. But now his father is saying that he will take him away from me?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "As long as you do not marry elsewhere, you have more right to him."
