(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي صَالِحٍ الْأَسْلَمِيَّ ، حَدَّثَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ ، سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَنْشُدُ النَّاسَ ، فَقَالَ : " أَنْشُدُ اللَّهَ رَجُلًا مُسْلِمًا سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ يَوْمَ غَدِيرِ خُمٍّ مَا قَالَ ، فَقَامَ اثْنَا عَشَرَ بَدْرِيًّا فَشَهِدُوا " .
Zadhan says that I heard Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) in the courtyard of the mosque, asking people by Allah to tell who was present with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at the occasion of Ghadir Khumm and who heard the statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)? At this, twelve Badr companions stood up and all of them testified.
