(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " كُلُوا ، وَاشْرَبُوا ، وَتَصَدَّقُوا ، وَالْبَسُوا ، غَيْرَ مَخِيلَةٍ وَلَا سَرَفٍ " ، وَقَالَ يَزِيدُ مَرَّةً : " فِي غَيْرِ إِسْرَافٍ وَلَا مَخِيلَةٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Eat, drink, give charity, and wear (clothes), but do not be arrogant and do not be extravagant."
