Hadith 6675

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَا تَنْتِفُوا الشَّيْبَ ، فَإِنَّهُ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَشِيبُ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ شَيْبَةً إِلَّا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهَا حَسَنَةً ، وَحَطَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةً " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not pluck out white hairs, for they are the light of a Muslim. For every Muslim whose hair turns white in the state of Islam, for each hair a good deed is written, a rank is raised, or a sin is forgiven."
