Hadith 6672

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " لَا تَنْتِفُوا الشَّيْبَ ، فَإِنَّهُ نُورُ الْمُسْلِمِ ، مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَشِيبُ شَيْبَةً فِي الْإِسْلَامِ إِلَّا كُتِبَ لَهُ بِهَا حَسَنَةٌ ، وَرُفِعَ بِهَا دَرَجَةً ، أَوْ حُطَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةٌ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not pluck out white hairs, for they are the light of a Muslim. For every Muslim whose hair turns white in the state of Islam, for each hair a good deed is written, a rank is raised, or a sin is forgiven."
