Hadith 6671

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : ذَكَرَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يَحِلُّ سَلَفٌ وَبَيْعٌ ، وَلَا شَرْطَانِ فِي بَيْعٍ ، وَلَا رِبْحُ مَا لَمْ يُضْمَنْ ، وَلَا بَيْعُ مَا لَيْسَ عِنْدَكَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade two sales in one transaction, and from selling something on credit in which the guarantee is not included, and from selling that which is not in your possession.
