Hadith 6665

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ الرَّجُلُ الْبِكْرَ ، أَقَامَ عِنْدَهَا ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a person marries a virgin woman, he should spend three days with her before assigning the turn."
