Hadith 6664

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ ، وَغَيْرُهُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَا يَتَوَارَثُ أَهْلُ مِلَّتَيْنِ شَتَّى " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "People of two different religions cannot inherit from one another."
