It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man passed away in Madinah Munawwarah. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led his funeral prayer and said: "If only he had not died in his homeland." Someone asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Why is that?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The reason is that when a person dies anywhere other than his homeland, then for him, from his homeland to the farthest point of his footsteps, a place in Paradise will be granted."
