(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْقُلُوبُ أَوْعِيَةٌ ، وَبَعْضُهَا أَوْعَى مِنْ بَعْضٍ ، فَإِذَا سَأَلْتُمْ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ ، فَاسْأَلُوهُ وَأَنْتُمْ مُوقِنُونَ بِالْإِجَابَةِ ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَسْتَجِيبُ لِعَبْدٍ دَعَاهُ عَنْ ظَهْرِ قَلْبٍ غَافِلٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Hearts are like vessels, some deeper than others. Therefore, O people, when you ask Allah, ask with certainty of acceptance, for Allah does not accept the supplication of a servant who calls upon Him with a heedless heart."
