(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أَرْبَعٌ إِذَا كُنَّ فِيكَ فَلَا عَلَيْكَ مَا فَاتَكَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا : حِفْظُ أَمَانَةٍ ، وَصِدْقُ حَدِيثٍ ، وَحُسْنُ خَلِيقَةٍ ، وَعِفَّةٌ فِي طُعْمَةٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If you possess four things and qualities, then even if the whole world slips away from you, it does not matter: safeguarding trust, truthfulness in speech, excellence in character, and purity in food."
