(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي حُيَيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيّ حَدَّثَهُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو ، يَقُولُ : " أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُورَةُ الْمَائِدَةِ وَهُوَ رَاكِبٌ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ ، فَلَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ أَنْ تَحْمِلَهُ ، فَنَزَلَ عَنْهَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that Surah Al-Ma'idah was revealed to the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was mounted on his riding animal. The animal could not bear the weight of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, so the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, had to dismount from it.
