Hadith 660

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ يَعْنِي الرَّازِيّ عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : لَا أَشكُّ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " آكِلَ الرِّبَا وَمُوكِلَهُ ، وَشَاهِدَيْهِ ، وَكَاتِبَهُ ، وَالْوَاشِمَةَ ، وَالْمُسْتَوْشِمَةَ ، وَالْمُحَلِّلَ ، وَالْمُحَلَّلَ لَهُ ، وَمَانِعَ الصَّدَقَةِ ، وَكَانَ يَنْهَى عَنِ النَّوْحِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who gives it to others, the one who writes usurious transactions, the witnesses to usurious transactions, the one who performs halalah, the one for whom halalah is performed, the one who withholds zakat, the woman who tattoos others, and the woman who gets herself tattooed. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade wailing.
