(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ ، وَمُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو ، أَنَّ بَكْرَ بْنَ سَوَادَةَ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ العاص حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ نَفَرًا مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ دَخَلُوا عَلَى أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ ، فَدَخَلَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقُ ، وَهِيَ تَحْتَهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ ، فَرَآهُمْ ، فَكَرِهَ ذَلِكَ ، فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : لَمْ أَرَ إِلَّا خَيْرًا ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ بَرَّأَهَا مِنْ ذَلِكَ " ، ثُمَّ قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ ، فَقَالَ : " لَا يَدْخُلَنَّ رَجُلٌ بَعْدَ يَوْمِي هَذَا عَلَى مُغِيبَةٍ إِلَّا وَمَعَهُ رَجُلٌ أَوْ اثْنَانِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that some people from Banu Hashim once came to Sayyidah Asma bint Umais (may Allah be pleased with her). Her honorable husband, Sayyiduna Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him), also arrived. Since she was his wife, he felt uneasy about this. He mentioned this to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "I saw nothing but good (I did not see anything bad, but still I did not like it)." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah has protected them." After this, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ascended the pulpit and said: "After today, no man should go to a woman whose husband is not present except that there is with him one or two other men."
