Hadith 6591

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ وَهُوَ النَّبِيلُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ قَالَ عَلَيَّ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ ، فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ " . (حديث مرفوع) (حديث موقوف) قَالَ : وَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَرَّمَ الْخَمْرَ ، وَالْمَيْسِرَ ، وَالْكُوبَةَ ، وَالْغُبَيْرَاءَ ، وَكُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever attributes to me something which I have not said, he should make his abode in Hell. And I heard the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying that Allah Almighty has declared wine, gambling, musical instruments, and the wine of Chena to be forbidden, and every intoxicating thing is forbidden."
