(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ سَيْفٍ الْمَعَافِرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ نَمْشِي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، إِذْ بَصُرَ بِامْرَأَةٍ لَا نَظُنُّ أَنَّهُ عَرَفَهَا ، فَلَمَّا تَوَجَّهْنَا الطَّرِيقَ ، وَقَفَ حَتَّى انْتَهَتْ إِلَيْهِ ، فَإِذَا فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، فَقَالَ : " مَا أَخْرَجَكِ مِنْ بَيْتِكِ يَا فَاطِمَةُ ؟ " قَالَتْ : أَتَيْتُ أَهْلَ هَذَا الْبَيْتِ ، فَرَحَّمْتُ إِلَيْهِمْ مَيِّتَهُمْ وَعَزَّيْتُهُمْ ، فَقَالَ : " لَعَلَّكِ بَلَغْتِ مَعَهُمْ الْكُدَى ؟ " قَالَتْ : مَعَاذَ اللَّهِ أَنْ أَكُونَ بَلَغْتُهَا مَعَهُمْ ، وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُكَ تَذْكُرُ فِي ذَلِكَ مَا تَذْكُرُ ، فقَالَ : " لَوْ بَلَغْتِهَا مَعَهُمْ مَا رَأَيْتِ الْجَنَّةَ حَتَّى يَرَاهَا جَدُّ أَبِيكِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were walking with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a woman. We did not think that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had recognized her. When we turned our attention to the road, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stopped there. When the woman arrived, it became clear that she was Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked her, "Fatimah! Have you left your house for some work?" She replied, "I came to the people living in this house; there had been a death here, so I thought I would offer condolences and pray for mercy for the deceased." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then you must have gone with them to the graveyard?" She replied, "God forbid that I would go with them to the graveyard, while I remember what I have heard from you about this." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "If you had gone with them, you would not have seen Paradise until your father's grandfather saw it."
