Hadith 6562

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : " مَا رُؤِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْكُلُ مُتَّكِئًا قَطُّ ، وَلَا يَطَأُ عَقِبَيْهِ رَجُلَانِ " .
Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was never seen eating while reclining, nor that two men were walking behind him.
