Hadith 6549

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ ، عَنْ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : " مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْكُلُ مُتَّكِئًا قَطُّ ، وَلَا يَطَأُ عَقِبَهُ رَجُلَانِ " ، قَالَ عَفَّانُ : عَقِبَيْهِ .
Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I never saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) eating while reclining, nor did I see two men walking behind him.
