Hadith 6531

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " تَطْلُعُ الشَّمْسُ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا ، وَتَخْرُجُ الدَّابَّةُ عَلَى النَّاسِ ضُحًى ، فَأَيُّهُمَا خَرَجَ قَبْلَ صَاحِبِهِ فَالْأُخْرَى مِنْهَا قَرِيبٌ ، وَلَا أَحْسِبُهُ إِلَّا طُلُوعَ الشَّمْسِ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا " ، يقول " هِيَ الَّتِي أَوَّلًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Near the Day of Judgment, the sun will rise from the west and the emergence of the Beast of the Earth will occur at forenoon. Whichever of these two signs appears first, the other will soon follow. However, I think that the rising of the sun from the west is the first sign as declared by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)."
