Hadith 6517

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، " أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى فِي كُسُوفِ الشَّمْسِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led two rak'ahs (units of prayer) on the occasion of a solar eclipse.
