It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) settled this agreement with the people of Khaybar: "Whatever produce comes from the fruits and crops, you will give half of it to us." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to give his noble wives one hundred wasqs from this every year, of which eighty wasqs were dates and twenty wasqs were barley.
