(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا
حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا
عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ
نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ
ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " حَمَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّقِيعَ لِلْخَيْلِ " ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ : يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ , يَعْنِي الْعُمَرِيَّ خَيْلِهِ ؟ قَالَ : خَيْلِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made Naqi’ a pasture for horses. Hammad says: I asked, "For his own horses?" The teacher replied, "No, rather for the horses of the Muslims."
