Hadith 6461

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يُعَلِّمُنَا الْقُرْآنَ ، فَإِذَا مَرَّ بِسُجُودِ الْقُرْآنِ سَجَدَ وَسَجَدْنَا مَعَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to teach us the Noble Qur'an. During this, if he recited a verse of prostration and performed prostration, we would also perform prostration with him.
