Hadith 6457

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ , أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ , " كَانَ يَرْمِي الْجِمَارَ بَعْدَ يَوْمِ النَّحْرِ مَاشِيًا " ، وَيَزْعُمُ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ .
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to stone the Jamarat on foot after the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah, and he used to state that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also did likewise.
