Hadith 6448

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ الَّذِي لَا يُؤَدِّي زَكَاةَ مَالِهِ يُمَثِّلُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى لَهُ مَالَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ شُجَاعًا أَقْرَعَ ، لَهُ زَبِيبَتَانِ ، فَيَلْزَمُهُ ، أَوْ يُطَوِّقُهُ ، قَالَ : يَقُولُ : أَنَا كَنْزُكَ , أَنَا كَنْزُكَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever does not pay the zakat of his wealth, on the Day of Resurrection his wealth will come in the form of a bald snake, which will have two black spots over its eyes. That snake will be made into a collar and hung around his neck, and it will say to him: 'I am your treasure, I am your treasure.'"
