Hadith 6429

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، وَحُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرُّؤَاسِيُّ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَمَرَ بِزَكَاةِ الْفِطْرِ أَنْ تُؤَدَّى قَبْلَ خُرُوجِ النَّاسِ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded that the Sadaqat al-Fitr should be given before going out to the Eid prayer place.
