(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا عَدْوَى وَلَا طِيَرَةَ ، وَالشُّؤْمُ فِي ثَلَاثَةٍ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ ، وَالدَّارِ ، وَالدَّابَّةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No disease is contagious and there is no reality in bad omens. Misfortune could be found in three things: in a horse, in a woman, and in a house."
