Amr bin Dinar says that a man asked Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), (if a man puts on the Ihram for Umrah) then does it become permissible for him to approach his wife before performing Sa'i between Safa and Marwah or not? Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) replied: "The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to Makkah, performed seven circuits of Tawaf, prayed two rak'ahs behind Maqam Ibrahim, and performed Sa'i between Safa and Marwah. Then he said: 'Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have a beautiful example.'"
