(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، وَحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ عَرَبِيٍّ ، قَالَ : سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنِ اسْتِلَامِ الْحَجَرِ ؟ قَالَ حَسَنٌ , عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا , سَأَلَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنِ الْحَجَرِ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَلِمُهُ وَيُقَبِّلُهُ ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ : أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ زُحِمْتُ ؟ ! فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ : اجْعَلْ " أَرَأَيْتَ " بِالْيَمَنِ ! ! رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَسْتَلِمُهُ وَيُقَبِّلُهُ " .
A man asked Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about touching the Black Stone. He replied: "I saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) touching and kissing it." The man said, "Tell me, what if there is a crowd?" He replied: "Tell me, if I am in Yemen, I have only seen the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) touching and kissing it."
