(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، سَمِعْتُ نَافِعًا , يَقُولُ : إِنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يُقِمْ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ مِنْ مَجْلِسِهِ ثُمَّ يَخْلُفُهُ فِيهِ " ، فَقُلْتُ أَنَا لَهُ , يَعْنِي ابْنَ جُرَيْجٍ , فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ ؟ قَالَ : فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَغَيْرِهِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No person should make another get up from his place and then sit there himself." I asked the narrator whether this prohibition is meant specifically for the day of Jumu'ah (Friday)? He replied: "It includes both Jumu'ah and other than Jumu'ah."
