Hadith 635

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَامِرٌ ، عَنْ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَشَرَةً : " آكِلَ الرِّبَا ، وَمُوكِلَهُ ، وَكَاتِبَهُ ، وَشَاهِدَيْهِ ، وَالْحَالَّ ، وَالْمُحَلَّلَ لَهُ ، وَمَانِعَ الصَّدَقَةِ ، وَالْوَاشِمَةَ ، وَالْمُسْتَوْشِمَةَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed ten types of people: the one who consumes usury, the one who gives usury to others, the one who writes usurious transactions, the witnesses to usurious transactions, the one who performs halalah, the one for whom halalah is performed, the one who withholds zakat, the woman who tattoos others, and the woman who gets herself tattooed.
