Hadith 632

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُدْرِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِى زُرْعَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ نُجَيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تَدْخُلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ جُنُبٌ ، وَلَا صُورَةٌ ، وَلَا كَلْبٌ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The angels of mercy do not enter a house in which there is a person in a state of major ritual impurity (junub), or an image, or a dog."
