Hadith 6280

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، وَحَمَّادُ بْنُ أُسَامَةَ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ كَفَّرَ أَخَاهُ ، فَقَدْ بَاءَ بِهَا أَحَدُهُمَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever calls his brother a disbeliever, then surely one of them returns as a disbeliever."
