Hadith 6271

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a ring made of silver, which remained in his hand. After the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that ring remained in the hand of Sayyiduna Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him), then in the hand of Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), then in the hand of Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him), and then it remained with Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), in this order. Engraved on it was "Muhammad Rasul Allah" (Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah), peace and blessings be upon him.
