(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاج ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُقَيْلٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَامَ يَخْطُبُ ، فَقَالَ : " أَلَا وَإِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ هَاهُنَا ، مِنْ حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ " ، يَعْنِي : الْمَشْرِقَ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up to deliver a sermon. He (peace be upon him) pointed with his hand towards the east and said: "The trial will emerge from here, from where the horn of Satan will appear."
