Hadith 6242

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : اعْتَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَحُجَّ ، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ عَائِشَةَ ، فَقَالَتْ : " اعْتَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْبَعَ عُمَرٍ ، قَدْ عَلِمَ بِذَلِكَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، مِنْهُنَّ عُمْرَةٌ مَعَ حَجَّتِهِ " .
Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a person asked Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) how many Umrahs the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed. He replied, "Two." When Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) came to know of this, she said: "Does Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) also know that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed an Umrah on the occasion of the Farewell Hajj?"
