Hadith 6241

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا يُصَوِّرُ عَبْدٌ صُورَةً ، إِلَّا قِيلَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَحْيِ مَا خَلَقْتَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever makes images, it will be said to him on the Day of Resurrection: 'Give life to what you have created and blow soul into them.'"
