(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ ، عَنْ قَزَعَةَ ، قَالَ : أَرْسَلَنِي ابْنُ عُمَرَ فِي حَاجَةٍ ، فَقَالَ : تَعَالَ حَتَّى أُوَدِّعَكَ كَمَا وَدَّعَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأَرْسَلَنِي فِي حَاجَةٍ لَهُ ، فَقَالَ : " أَسْتَوْدِعُ اللَّهَ دِينَكَ وَأَمَانَتَكَ وَخَوَاتِيمَ عَمَلِكَ " .
Qaza'ah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) sent me for some task and said: "Come close so that I may bid you farewell in the same manner as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) bid me farewell when sending me for a task." Then he took my hand and said: "I entrust your religion, your trustworthiness, and the outcome of your deeds to Allah."
