(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ قَطَنِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ يُحَنَّسَ , أَنَّ مَوْلَاةً لِابْنِ عُمَرَ أَتَتْهُ ، فَقَالَتْ : عَلَيْكَ السَّلَامُ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ : وَمَا شَأْنُكِ ؟ قَالَتْ : أَرَدْتُ الْخُرُوجَ إِلَى الرِّيفِ ، فَقَالَ لَهَا : اقْعُدِي ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقَولَ : " لَا يَصْبِرُ عَلَى لَأْوَائِهَا وَشِدَّتِهَا أَحَدٌ إِلَّا كُنْتُ لَهُ شَهِيدًا أَوْ شَفِيعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
Yuhannas says that once a slave girl of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) came to him and said, "O Abu Abdur Rahman, peace be upon you." Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) asked, "What do you mean?" She said, "I want to go to some green and lush area." Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said to her, "Sit down. I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever patiently endures the hardships and difficulties of Madinah, I will intercede for him on the Day of Resurrection."
