Hadith 6160

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، وَعِصَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ ثَوْبَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقْبَلُ تَوْبَةَ الْعَبْدِ مَا لَمْ يُغَرْغِرْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty accepts the servant’s repentance even before the state of agony of death overtakes him.
