(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ ، وَأَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كَانَ يُسَبِّحُ وَهُوَ عَلَى ظَهْرِ رَاحِلَتِهِ ، لَا يُبَالِي حَيْثُ كَانَ وَجْهُهُ ، وَيُومِئُ بِرَأْسِهِ إِيمَاءً " ، وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer voluntary prayers on his mount, regardless of which direction it was facing, and he would gesture with his head. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to do the same.
